Paul Mulcahy

Paul Mulcahy is Managing Director of RCI for Asia Pacific, India, and EMEA. As a member of the RCI senior leadership team, he oversees all operations across the region.

Before RCI, Paul was Senior Vice President Commercial and a member of the Executive Committee at Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts where he spearheaded the hospitality firm’s commercial and digital transformation, achieving a $1billion turnover milestone while introducing significant synergies and driving promotional activities that enhanced customer
experience, loyalty, and satisfaction. Prior to Mövenpick, Paul was leading distribution for the tourism services brand Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs Group, where he delivered a CRM, and call centers. Paul has served in Commercial Director and General Manager leadership roles for global online travel company Orbitz.com, and he was also the E-commerce Director at the InterContinental Hotels Group, where he significantly grew direct online revenue in the EMEA region.

Paul sits on the client advisory board of IDeaS (SAS) Revenue Management Solutions and was past chair at the HSMAI Europe Marketing Board. A fluent French speaker and having lived and worked in a number of countries across the EMEA region, he has a vast experience in leading international teams. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lancaster University and a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Leicester.

Irish-born, Paul is married and has two children. In his downtime, he enjoys cooking Asian cuisine, traveling, catching up with friends, and windsurfing.
